Learning
Palmerston College Year 10 – 12 Campus is designed for senior secondary students to immerse themselves in College life, allowing them to explore and enrich their areas of interest. We work with students to structure education pathways to best suit the individual interests, strengths and career aspirations Expert and specialised teachers use the Australian Curriculum and Stage 1 and Stage 2 South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) courses in a collaborative and respectful learning environment to inspire, motivate and challenge student to achieve personal success for now and into the future.
Leadership
At Palmerston College student leadership plays an important part in College decision making and fostering a learning environment that empowers students and values their voice. All students are encouraged to undertake leadership roles throughout their time at Palmerston College. Our Council of Student Voice provides the senior secondary student body with a voice on growing leadership across the campuses and the issues that affect and matter most to them.
Additional Needs
Our Year 10 – 12 Campus provides specialist programs for students of all abilities.
Our unique Flexible Learning Unit supports students with a wide range of specific needs and require additional support with increased opportunity to experience wide range of educational experiences tailored to their skills, needs and interests. Our Special Education Centre (SEC) is a purpose-built centre on the senior secondary campus catering for the needs of students with disabilities from Year 7 to Year 12.
