Palmerston City Schools build pathways to success for Palmerston children from early childhood (0-4 years) and primary years (4-12 years) into the middle and senior years of school (12-18 years). A key strength of the Palmerston City Schools is the culture of collaboration and lead as one across students, staff and community groups.

Two early learning centres and eight primary schools have dedicated teams of teachers and support staff from early childhood into primary years. Expert and specialised teachers use the Australian Curriculum, Social and Emotional Learning and specialised programs to prepare Palmerston students to be global community members who are innovative, creative, independent, adaptable and confident. Student leadership groups from each campus work together to build collaborative relationships, leadership skills, positive peer impact, set high expectations and increase student voice to take back to their peers, across the Palmerston community and beyond.
Parent representatives from each council or board will work together quarterly to focus on building and connecting pathways from early childhood and primary years into the middle and senior years of school.
